This APW Wyott HFW-3 Electric Drop-In Hot Food Well Unit is durable and efficient. It has a heavy duty top mount, deep-drawn austenite stainless steel well, and an aluminized outer housing. The housing's sides and bottom are fully insulated. This Drop-In Hot Food Well is easily installed in metal or wood countertops with its APW Wyott E-Z locks on all four exterior sides.
It has a tubular heating element shaped in a serpentine fashion for even heat distribution. The element is mounted under the well and is secured by an aluminized deflector shield for maximum efficiency. This HFW-3 can be used in WET or DRY operations, but WET offers the best results.
