Regular Cleaning: After each use, unplug the unit and allow it to cool. Remove the well pan, lid, and any other removable components, and wash them with warm, soapy water. Water Management: Before operating, add approximately 3 cups (0.7 liters) of hot water (120°F–140°F or 50°C–60°C) to the well pan. This practice helps maintain consistent heating and prevents the heating element from operating dry, which could cause damage.
